This video shows multiple pups working on concepts on an established pattern blind field. Here we can see several issues with different levels and characters of pups.
Ash, Owned by Brandon Mayo. It is important to not rush our pup and to build confidence on driving straight. We don’t want to do too much stopping. Only in the really cheating and clear areas will we stop or give corrections. Keep it simple and teach!!!
Ash, owned by Brandon Mayo. We’re still keeping our reverse going yet we are working on teaching our pup to run straight to the piles without cheating and as well as returning to us without any cheating. Slowly getting straighter lines.
Ash, owned by Brandon Mayo. Our pup is gaining tons of confidence and driving hard to the back pile as well as learning to take and carry our over casts. All three piles have been instituted and we’re starting to teach our pup reverse casting.
Ash, owned by Brandon Mayo. Slowly building our Water T and finished up forcing to water. Back pile is well established. Keeping our eyes at all times on our pups. Getting straighter lines. Establishing our over piles.
Today we’re working on balance. Teet has a tendency to seek water at times and seek land the other times. We’ll show what we want out of a pup and then show exactly what we want out of Teet.
